Serrano Creek Park

This long, tree-filled park features a playground & a shelter, plus walking paths & restrooms. Picnic shelters are available for rental.

Parking

Serrano Creek Park is a beautiful park with a large grove of eucalyptus trees and is the perfect location for photoshoots. It is also a popular destination for families and children because it has a playground and slides.

This park is located right behind the Heritage Hills shopping center on Lake Forest Drive and Trabuco Road. There is a very maintained concrete walking path that loops around the park and playground and has a gazebo big enough for a few picnic tables. The park has a public restroom and is handicap friendly.

Parking options at Serrano Creek Park include street parking and daily fee parking in the city-owned Westminster, McKinley, and Oakwood parking lots, as well as at the Lake Forest Metra train station near the park. Amenities

Serrano Creek Park stretches from Toledo to Winding Way near Lake Forest Drive and is home to a giant playground complex with jungle gym equipment, slides, and swings. It also boasts a trail that winds around the park, providing shade for walkers or horseback riders.

The playground was once a relic of the pre-cityhood era, with play equipment made from railroad ties and just one set of swings. But thanks to the city and state safety codes, it’s now in good condition for kids to play on.

The park’s long tree-filled trails feature eucalyptus groves that line Serrano Creek, which runs from the Heritage Hills shopping center and Heritage Hills Elementary School to Bake Parkway. It’s a lovely place for families to explore. It’s located near Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park and is within walking distance of the Irvine Spectrum area, as well as easy freeway access. Trails

The trails at Serrano Creek Park Lake Forest CA offer a variety of options for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. Some of the trails include Borrego Canyon Trail, Santiago Ranch Road, and Sage Scrub Trail.

This is a great neighborhood park, with lots of trees to provide shade during the day. It is also a perfect place for walking your dog.

It’s a good place to take the kids for a walk as well! They love the tree coverage and will often play in the eucalyptus trees.

The park is tucked away behind the Heritage Hills shopping center on Trabuco Road and runs all the way to Bake Parkway. It’s a quiet area, with horses and cyclists a common sight on the trail.

The park is tucked away behind the Heritage Hills Shopping Center and stretches all the way to Bake Parkway, with eucalyptus trees lining the creek. There is a horse stable, a playground, and simulated sandstone rocks for children to climb. There is also a long trail that runs through the park and offers plenty of shade for walkers. Picnic shelters are available for rent at this park. You can reserve one shelter per weekend day.
